Finding a flight to Bonaire may be the only challenging bit of your journey to this beautiful island. So make sure that you do give flight planning considerable attention.
As of time of writing, there are direct flights from the Netherlands, Miami, Puerto Rico, Curacao, Aruba, Jamaica and Peru.
If you’re flying from Europe, the best way to get to Bonaire is by direct flight from Amtersdam with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. This flight takes about 10 hours.
KLM also has connecting flights to Bonaire stopping over in Aruba, Curacao, & Saint Maarten.
If you’re flying from the US, you can charter a flight direct to Bonaire from Fort Lauderdale in Miami.
Alternatively, you can fly to Jamaica ( by Jamaica Air ), Aruba, or Puerto Rico and then a connecting flight to Bonaire ( With Continental, American, Jamaica Air ).
Continental Airlines also recently announced that starting December 2005, there will already be direct flights from Houston’s George Bush Intl. Airport to Bonaire.
