Great Keppel Island

If you ever find yourself in Central Queensland and are itching to go to a tropical island getaway, there’s always Great Keppel Island to explore. (Photo by LeeLeFever_TwinF)

It’s the biggest island of Queensland’s Kepel Group and like most islands in Australia, it’s an oasis of national parks, exotic wildlife and azure blue sea.

Another good thing about Great Keppel Island is that it is a short boat ride away from the mainland, so traveling there is really quite quick and easy. You can even go there for a day trip if you want (although I think staying for a longer period of time will make you appreciate the place more)

I’ve written down below the different ways to go to the island to help you with your trip.
